    Cinematography in THE MUTT

Anastasia recently completed her degree in Film and Television Directing with a pedagogy focus from the Chelyabinsk Institute of Culture (February 2024). Her thesis involved directing a documentary about her grandmother's 40-year separation from her sister, mentored by Professor Stella Viktorovna Panova and cinematographer Nikolai Valeryevich Telezhnikov.

She briefly worked at regional television before recognizing her true passion lay in filmmaking. Currently, she is developing a documentary about a mother raising a daughter with special needs.

Under the mentorship of Anna Nesterova, Anastasia joined The Mutt to create original video work capturing Russian winter landscapes. Over the course of a year, she traveled to remote places in Russia to capture the beauty, emotional disturbance, and vulnerability of the landscape for New York City audiences.
