After-School Classes Near P.S. 267, Six Minutes Away
Two blocks north and one avenue east — about six minutes on foot.
P.S. 267 sits on East 63rd between 2nd and 3rd. We're on East 65th between 1st and 2nd — two blocks north, one avenue east, about six minutes with a child in tow. It's the kind of distance where a weekly class stays a habit instead of becoming a logistics problem you eventually drop.
East Side Elementary is a K–5 zoned school, which means most of its families live within a short radius of the building — and so of us. Several of our students have siblings at different schools nearby; a single weekly slot that works for both is usually easier than coordinating two programs.
Classes are small and taught by working artists. Children act, move, and sing rather than sit. The goal is a child who wants to go back next week, not a resumé line.
The class we'd suggest first: Dance, Friday 5:00 PM
Friday at 5:00 works well for 267 families: it's the end of the week, there's no homework waiting that evening, and the later start leaves room for the walk over and a snack first.

- Head east on East 63rd Street to 2nd Avenue.
- Turn left and walk two blocks north to East 65th Street.
- Turn right toward 1st Avenue — we're at 325 East 65th, mid-block.
One honest note: we are not a daily after-school or childcare program. We don't cover the 3–6pm window every weekday and we don't provide homework help. What we offer is one meaningful class a week that your child looks forward to — the opposite of another full-time commitment.
