Streetcar Studio brings theater, dance, and music together in one movement theater piece, guiding students through the full process — from first rehearsal to final performance — in a supportive, professional environment. Students audition for the chance to shine in a professional December Holiday Show.
Born from a commitment to transformative theater, we take our studio performances seriously. Our students learn from their teachers—not only as classroom guides, but as working artists—through both technical training and the experience of sharing the stage with them. By rehearsing and performing side by side, they absorb professional ethics, dedication to the craft, and a lasting passion for the performing arts. Children also help shape the production by making creative choices alongside our teaching team, learning not just how to perform, but what it truly means to be an artist.
Last Semester: The Little Prince
Last semester, our students brought The Little Prince to the stage as a movement theater piece. Alongside learning the choreography, the kids spent time discussing the story's ideas with their teachers. By opening night, every child on stage knew exactly what messages they were sharing with the audience, not just where to stand.
